What we have been doing since Lockdown Covid – 19
Since Covid-19 ENABLE Glasgow: Fortune Works have been exceptionally busy. Our dedicated support workers have been ensuring that all service users are contacted throughout this period to check their well-being. Contact is tailored to the service users and their family’s needs to ensure there is appropriate support and assistance available to them.
Due to there being a surge in social media for everyone staying safe and connected, Fortune Works has been very proactive on Facebook. There are always 3 daily posts, including Morning posts to check in with everyone, Jokes/Riddles to increase interaction, Competitions to raise morale and all our Service Users Birthdays. There are also pertinent issues and information shared via our Facebook, whether through ENABLE Glasgow’s Facebook and our partner agencies, ensuring that everyone is staying connected and is well informed.
We have also been looking at what will happen post Covid-19 by applying for suitable and appropriate funding that would support Fortune Works in delivering a full service as possible to all service users on a phased rotational return whilst complying with regulations and social distancing after Covid-19
